Unfortunately this beauty pageant is not real but is a spoof that many Vietnam netizens are enjoying. The name of this fake beauty pageant is “Mr. Girly Vietnam 2011″ and was perhaps created as a response to the recent popularity of beauty contests and talent competitions in Vietnam. With increased media consumption and pop culture in Vietnam, there are now more pagents than ever.
