Dutch women participate in Bavaria Brewery's ambush marketing at 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa
If you watched the 2010 FIFA World Cup from South Africa you’ll probably remember these Dutch beauties who were involved in Bavaria Brewery’s so-called “ambush marketing”. Disguised as fans, they infiltrated the Netherlands vs Denmark match in Johannesburg but were later expelled by FIFA officials. The controversy became famous around the world, bringing enormous publicity to the Dutch Brewery and their beleaguered participants.
Seems like Vietnam’s Mobifone, a major national mobile network operator, is taking a page from Bavaria Brewery’s playbook with these Mobifone girls seen at the recent Vietnam vs Singapore match of the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup.
Football/soccer and pretty women. What else could you ask for, boys? Oh right, where’s the beer? Fortunately, beer is cheap in Vietnam and it’s pretty good too.
By the way, Vietnam won the match 1-0 over Singapore. As for the Mobifone girls, what do you think?

The Mobifone girls are wearing jackets – is it that cold in Hanoi? The Dutch/Bravaria Brewery girls’ summer look is easier on the eyes…

Ian Welsh over at bewpons wrote a rather a few weeks ago that comes to some of the same conclusions you do. In general, Blogging of the President comes highly recomended. Also, let me say that I agree with the above commenter; what data do you have that requires duplicity on the administration’s part in order to explain it? Small-minded fear and incompetence is all the explanation you need for what I’ve seen, though I suppose they have had a rather spectacular run of it.
I GOT ONE TOO!!!!!!*grin*Did you tear up, like I did?(of course, I am a dork and you are not, so pehpars you didn’t)It is a precious, precious item, as is the man who sent it.
